Port of Switzerland

Port of Switzerland
Port of Switzerland is the gateway to the world's oceans. More than 10 percent of all imports arriving in Switzerland that come in via the Rhine from seaports such as Rotterdam, Antwerp and Amsterdam are transferred in Basel, Birsfelden and Muttenz. Here you will find large grain silos, storage facilities for petrol and other petroleum products and high stacks of containers. Around 100 firms work here to facilitate an important part of the Swiss export trade.
